Still one of my fav songs of anything BLACKPINK.
The timing of the song’s release couldn’t have been more perfect imo. BLACKPINK having one of their best comebacks in D4 era, followed by JENNIE’s viral moments in KR after Running Man. It was the perfect time to release SOLO. BP couldn’t miss at all.
YG marketing BLACKPINK as individuals worked out really well. Although, the other members’ solos should’ve came out sooner.
Definitely looks like they acquired the copyrights to their solo projects from YG
