BLACKPINK’s Rosé is stepping up to support ‘Island 2: N/a.’

According to News1’s investigation on the 28th, Rosé will participate in singing the signal song for Mnet’s K-pop girl group debut project ‘Island 2: N/a.’

‘Island 2: N/a,’ returning for its second season, is expected to capture the journey of creating a new trend in the global music market through special collaborations not seen before.

‘Island 2: N/a’ is led by Teddy, the head of Double Black Label, as the master producer. Teddy has produced hit songs for BLACKPINK, 2NE1, Jeon Somi, and others. Rosé’s participation in this survival signal song seems to be based on her close relationship with Teddy.

Especially, Rosé’s unveiling of a solo song is the first time in about three years since the release of her solo album ‘R’ in March 2021.

Last month, Rosé hinted at her solo activities through Instagram, saying, “I will work harder to come back better this year.” Therefore, there is much anticipation regarding her participation in the signal song this time.
