BLACKPINK’s IP-based mobile game OST “THE GIRLS” will finally be released for the first time in the world.
According to YG Entertainment on the 23rd, the music video of “THE GIRLS” will be available at Black Pink World, a virtual space in “BLACKPINK The Game” at 1 p.m. (Korea Standard Time).
“THE GIRLS” is the OST of “BLACKPINK the Game,” which was released in May, and the combination of unique rap and vocals of the members on top of the rhythmical and intense sound is impressive. Producers such as Ryan Tedder and Danny Chung, who have been working with BLACKPINK, have supported and shot, and members Jenny and Rose have been named on the credit, drawing keen attention.
In particular, BLACKPINK’s stage, which was reborn as a 3D avatar, is expected to give global fans a different experience. It is expected to add fun to the choreography created by YGX’s dance team, as well as avatars and stage costumes that the members participated in the production process.
Contents for fans have also been prepared to commemorate the release of “THE GIRLS.”The BLACKPINK The Game OST Celebration Party, where BLACKPINK members carry out missions, will be released on the official YouTube channel of BLACKPINK The Game and YG, and photos taken by the members will be updated on in-game photo cards in the future.
The “THE GIRLS” OST package is being pre-ordered on major music sites such as KTOWN4U and YG Select Shop, and will be released on the 25th. A total of four types, including black and pink editions in the Stella and Reve versions, have been prepared, and various configurations as well as practicality have increased the value of the collection.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is conducting the largest world tour of K-pop girl groups, BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK], which attracts about 1.75 million people. While breathing with fans in four North American cities, New Jersey, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, it will have a spectacular finale in Seoul in September.
